Showers or Baths?

Post by Rolvix » September 18th, 2009, 5:35 pm

Considering I'm about to go take a shower to wash off my soccer practice, what do you prefer? Baths, or showers?

I for one like to read in the bath if I have time, but I can't stand trying to wash my hair (even though it's short) so I usually end up finishing it with a quick shower.

I like both, but I rarely get to enjoy a bath. I prefer showers most of the time, but I do long for a nice, hot soak sometimes. When I grow up, I'm gonna have a big ass bathtub (BAB).

I agree with Miles. I take showers, but every once in a while I love to take a good soak in the tub.

Before K68 came into my life, I had a ritual every Valentine's Day. I would take a nice long soak in a hot bubble bath. Then I'd climb into bed, pop in Casablanca and fall asleep.

Where's the hot tub / jacuzzi option? I chose "bath" because that's the closest. Nothing like a nice soak in an outdoor hot tub (with or without cocktails) to rejuvenate my old bones after an extended bout of physical activity (sports, gym activity, heavy-lifting chores, etc).

I like both. I have a double shower and I have a jacuzzi tub. I love getting clean!

Shower for me...I generally only take baths when I feel an illness coming on. Then I take as long and as hot a bath as I can coax from the water heater.

This question was posted over yonder a long time ago. My vote has not changed, and I have enjoyed tons of baths since then.

Of course! And it was followed or preceded by a soap question.

There probably aren't any random questions to ask anymore. I'll work hard to think of one that EJ might not have come up with. ~x(

I typically use the shower, but I do enjoy a long hot soaking bath from time to time. I just installed dual heads on the shower in one bathroom and that works pretty good. I am remodeling my master bathroom and want to put in dual shower heads and possibly the jets that shoot out from shoulder to waist also. I don't have jacuzzi tub, but a big soaking tub, I didn't get the jets put in it originally as the X didn't want those. Maybe I'll replace that if I can afford it because I sure do like them!!!

After a long day of grubbiness, I'm headed off to the tub. Know what's great about baths? It's easier to enjoy a beer in the bathtub than it is a shower.

I'm perfectly comfortable in my masculinity that I can crawl into and soak in a nice bubblebath. Usually a quick shower first to get the grime off.

Best part of moving into our house a couple years ago was upgrading to a garden tub that fits more than one.....
