Duke adds Blakeny to recruiting haul
The last Blakeny Duke had worked out pretty well, and this one is taller! He's not touted by tons of scouts, but Cutcliffe knows what he's looking for, and this guy sounds like a very athletic reciever.

I'd love to get someone that size to play cornerback. I love Leon Wright, but when he's gone, it'd be great to have some taller guys. I think both our starters are 5'11".

Our CB recruit for this year is only 6'. I'd rather have taller CB's than QB's...that being said, Leon proved short guys can pick 'em too. But short guys are at a disadvantage on well thrown long passes when both reciever and CB are fighting for it.DukeUsul wrote:I'd love to get someone that size to play cornerback.
