Mike Hampton (shoulder surgery) to miss 2010 season.

In other news, the sun came up today.
At least:

1. He's not on the Braves payroll (I hope)
2. He didn't trip on a dugout step and do this (or did he?)

He's not, and he didn't.
Geesh.

It wouldn't surprise me a bit if he retired, then just went to sit in the stands with the fans, only to get hit by a ball or bat slipping out of the batter's hands. Maybe he should try a safer sport like alligator wrestling.
