Mid-day progress report: a bit drowsy/groggy and ready for small amounts of food and pain meds. Thirty minute surgery, uncomplicated and f/u next week for suture removal. She WILL be in uniform AND cheering on 9/5 but probably no tumbling for a couple more weeks.

DD - sorry for the late vibes and prayers for Claire, but I am glad to hear all the pins were removed successfully and she can proudly look at them each night and morning!!!!! I AM sorry to hear about the healing and recovery pains and I hope she overcomes them soon!!!! I can't wait to see her cheer in Oct!
