And another fun tidbit. I could use some amusement this week, so I went to IC for schadenfreude.
They have a post inviting readers to meet the class of 2025. The first comment is "Looks like it's not going to take long to meet all of them."
There are three bios. THREE. Tres. Trois. Two O linemen, one D lineman.
Meanwhile, I have twenty-eight(ish) notifications from Duke Football twitter regarding young men who Saw The Light.

Bradley Gompers, a 4* player at about #105 on the uncspn top 300, checks in as a 6-5/215 LB/TE, is expected to sign with Duke today instead of
Xichigan or PSU. Huuuuge!!
Also picked up this tasty morsel from The Devils Den a few minutes ago:
"Not sure where else to put this, but from something I saw on IG from Rivals, FSU's decommit class is ranked higher than their actual commit class at the moment."
FWIW, which is nothing when it comes to FB recruiting, Gompers is a 4 star but #277 on ESPN's 300. (And ESPN has him listed as "Signed"

)
Duke FB Twitter has Gompers and Bryce Davis, the 4 star from Greensboro, both signed.
Bryce Davis is listed at 82 on ESPN's 300, with offers from UGA, LSU, Bama, lots of other places.
LOL to the F$U decommit class, and also to the highest sheep prospect, who isn't signing today after visiting Penn State last weekend
Davis actually committed to Clemson and not to UGA originally when the Dawgs took another highly rated DL. A week or two later, he de-committed from Clemson, where his parents "directed" him, and flipped to Duke which is where he wanted to go all along.

[redacted] them and the horses they rode in on.

And now they have four. A "possession" WR from GA, the 197th best receiver in the class.

Does that mean he's guaranteed to not drop the ball?

I’m very happy to see the recruits are signing their letters.

Now they are at six. One of their poster said, "when they have a recruits meeting, they can meet in a phone booth."
As far as I can tell, all of our guys signed.

Earlier they get working with Feeley, the better!

The final sheep total is seven. Again quoting IC: "It should be a brief press conference announcing this class."
Meanwhile, we have either 2 or 3 four star guys (depending on which service you look at), and as Bob pointed out, half of our guys are enrolling early and getting in with David Feely the strength and conditioning coach, who is well worth every penny we give him.

Has a strength/conditioning coach ever been more valuable for a team? Feeley is one of our keys to success!
Recruits, please monitor your academic schedules carefully, so that you don't take too much valuable time away from strength/conditioning. Priorities, please!
