The CEO of my new company called me in to tell me that my former employer has sent her a letter regarding my non-compete agreement.
Prior to being hired at the new company, the company lawyer adjusted my offer letter to state that I would work outside of the scope of my non-compete. My current employer said to not worry about it and that their lawyer will respond to the letters sent to them and myself on our behalf.
