We are excited to have both power and internet restored here in Cedar Rapids. A Derecho is something I’ve never experienced in all my many years and hope I never do again. We personally have escaped with loss of all our trees and some damage to our home - all of it is fixable however that is not the case with many, many families in our community!

Good morning from Isle of Palms, SC! We drove down yesterday to Nina’s daughter’s house. I’m staying until Sunday, Nina most of next week. This morning it’s raining. That’s okay, tomorrow is the golf day!
