SquirrelHam rhymes with EarlJam.

Re: LTE 2.0
This image popped up on my Facebook feed. The odds of this happening are like 531 bajillion to one. There is no sense in me playing the lottery now, because this sucked up all of my odds forever.
By the way, if you truncate "SquirrelHam", it spells "Sham".

EarlJam...now there is a name I have not heard in many a year

Blackbeard's Bear Hug-Bell's Brewery
GPS claims not local
Credit-RJ199's tasting when he had 32,000 beers in Cape Fear Harbor last fall (apologies to "that" musical's lyrics )
Format-12 ounce bottle over 2 nights
Style-flavored, rum barrels aged RIS
Stemware-snifter
Appearance-black with floating chunks ; negligible head
Nose-Mounds bar and Bacardi 151
Mouthfeel-smooth except those small, visible chunks are perceptible
Tastes-booze and candy; burnt dark caramel; cinnamon
Adjuncts-vanilla, coconut , cinnamon
IBU-probably 50
ABV-14.5% (no typo); really, really good reason to divide over 2 nights; I almost fell asleep walking upstairs after last night's aliquot
Overall impression-amazing concoction; dark chocolate coconut, rum soaked pound/bundt cake
Ymm, Beer rating-easy cat 3; worth buying something else like it if it's ever brewed again

It’s a small world.
AW, my bailiff just told me he met you at your father-in-law’s funeral. So sorry for your loss.
He had very nice things to say about you.

Re: LTE 2.0
Grant the organist played "Dear Old Duke" for postlude at church yesterday.
Until yesterday, he has been one of those strange individuals who sort of liked both shades of blue, but liked the putrid one better. I've been working on him for two years, and yesterday I finally said the magic words that pushed him to the Side of Right and Justice....
Backstory for those of you who haven't heard on chat: I played Cupid for Grant the organist and LuAnn the preschool director. The two of them have fallen hard for each other, and they both tend to text me a lot, somehow managing their greatest text storms during games.
At any rate, I uttered the magic words yesterday, "LuAnn loves Duke, too." Whatever it takes.

I just dusted off the saxophone case and regaled the neighbors with some sax music. Finally quit when Wesley began howling on key.
