The best part is Daniel Jones goes into a situation where he doesn't have to start Day 1.

Second best part is that he is going to a team that I don't care about. I didn't want him to be great on a team I hate or suck on a team that I like.

Eli Manning's run as the New York Giants starting quarterback appears to be over after almost 15 years. Rookie Daniel Jones will take over beginning Sunday on the road against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

I caught some of the game via NFL Network and Jones looked very good. Giants play the Redskins next week so Jones will have the opportunity to gain more experience against a less than robust defense. Redskins have surrendered more than 30 points in their first two games. They play the Bears tonight.
