It's finally here! The home opener of the 2019 Duke Football season!

Duke opens against a very worthy opponent in NC A&T. The Aggies won't be the push-over that was NCCU and this should prove to be an exciting game.

One thing is for sure...the tailgate won't suck! As the new Bojangles® ad says: "You can't win the game if you don't win the tailgate!"

We've cleaned up Blue Smoke and, thanks to our artist/chef/hippy, it's sporting a brand new, fantastic paint job!

For the noobs:
This thread is where you can inform others of your intentions to attend and with how many guests. You can also post here if you would like to contribute a dish (or dishes) to the the feast which is the TBCC tailgate.
Please, only post items you're bringing to share. If you're just bringing beverages and/or food for you and your party then there's no need to post that in this thread.
Because we need to insure we're bringing/preparing enough food for all whom attend, please make your intentions (and the number in your party) known as soon as possible.
If you are bringing food that needs "grill time" (i.e. to be reheated/cooked), make that information known in your post.

OHHH. Pardon my derpitude but I completely neglected to reveal times the slop is served. We'll start banging out appetizers and stuff around 1500 (3PM). The heavy stuff hits post-Devil Walk*.

Ohhhh2: If you've never been to a Duke tailgate, you should really come early. Way early. Especially if you're bringing kids. There will be stuff to do. Tour Duke Gardens. Drink a SBM** Visit the ToK***. We'll have the FTB**** up and COMMS operational around 1000 hours.

*Devil Walk is always (approx) two hours before KO. It's really cool. You shouldn't miss it.

Excellent! There'll always be an extra spot at the tasting table. We rarely disclose our mystery bottles anyway.
