Jim looks at Duke receivers:

Receiver is a big unknown headed into 2019. My money is on Aaron Young, Jake Bobo and Darrell Harding, Jr to be the starters.

On-field performance hasn't met expectations.

Here is a balanced preview article from College Football News:

The defense should lead the way and the running game has to get going on offense.

Jim Sumner looks at the linebackers:

https://www.dukebasketballreport.com/20 ... -cutcliffe
Hill went into the spring as the presumed second starter but suffered a right-knee injury that required arthroscopic surgery. Duke treats injury reports like they’re nuclear codes but Hill hasn’t been ruled out for next season. Fingers crossed.
Jim discusses Xander Gagnon as the next man up before moving on to redshirt freshman Shaka Heyward. I've no doubt Heyward will jump over Gagnon on the depth chart. Gagnon has been less than impressive to date.

Jim Sumner on the defensive backs:

This is our deepest position. Mark Gilbert and Dylan Singleton are not yet 100 percent healthy. We need those two guys on the field. Lots of youngsters saw significant playing time in 2018 due to injuries. The invaluable experience gained should pay dividends the next several seasons.

Jim Sumner on special teams:

Josh Blackwell returning punts would be a good thing in my opinion. Jim comments on his trackster speed in the linked articles and I noted his great hands after the 2018 Spring Showcase.
