Duke vs. NCCU
Our annual game against an FCS opponent could not have come at a better time. I imagine we will see many of our banged-up starters sit this one out.
We open up as a 46 point favorite against the Eagles.
In our last five games against NCCU, we have won by an average of 46.6 points per game......

I predict we win. I also predict that we see some extended time for several backups.

What I will be looking to see:
1. Consistency from Quentin Harris - he was excellent against Baylor. He needs to be excellent again.
2. Better kicking game performance. Missed extra point/blocked punt can't happen again.
3. Play lots of depth - we are banged up so some players need to rest and recuperate.

Play analysis:
1. TD pass from Quentin Harris to T.J. Rahming against Baylor last week:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QULqVvZy2eI (play starts at the :52 second mark of the highlights)
2. TD pass from Daniel Jones to Quay Chambers against Notre Dame in 2016:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9wdmpy96ow&t=62s (play starts at the :37 second mark of the highlights)
It is the same play to opposite sides. Rahming TD is to the left, Chambers TD is to the right. Slot receiver catches the TD pass after defense overreacts to the possible swing pass to the running back in motion.
I throw this out there in my never ending quest to convince people the horizontal pass play serves a purpose in Duke's offense. It sets up vertical strikes such as the two examples above. It is so thrilling to be right!
