Happy New Year everybody. Been having trouble getting CTN to open up so I've been missing everybody. Tonight Google cooperated when nothing else would. Hoping all you sweet folks stay warm and safe tonight. My dad used to call NYE "amateur night". I think he was right. Have a wonderful 2018!
Love, Ima

Happy New Year, everyone! May the year ahead be filled with blessings for all of you.
Just got back from the grocery store, where I purchased the remaining ingredients needed to make Hoppin’ John and collard greens in my Instant Pot. Gotta be sure to make that lucky food. I learned this morning that it’s bad luck to do laundry on New Year’s Day. It did not hurt my feelings at all to postpone that load of laundry I had planned to do today.
Most people say that is it is the intellect which makes a great scientist. They are wrong: it is character.

Then, I'm screwed for the year. I did a load of laundry yesterday.
