Duke vs. Northwestern

Post by Bob Green » September 4th, 2017, 3:41 pm

Duke is currently a 3 points underdog against the Northwestern Wildcats with the over/under set at 53.5 points. Duke will not only cover, we will win the game. I like the under.

Yeah, that's a goofy line, but hey, I love being the underdog. Very excited for this game to see how we do against a real team.

This article gives our offense respect but gives no respect to our defense:

But honestly, it’s not a very interesting defense. Jim Knowles’ unit just cracked the top 50 in S&P+ but gave up far too many explosive plays; is led by a strong linebacking corps; and will likely rely on inexperienced players on the line and in the secondary. That’s about all you have to know. There are no superstars.
And it rags on our kicking game, but it is hard to disagree with them after last season.

Duke will wear all blue this week: helmets, jerseys and pants. This is my favorite uniform combination! (actually I like whatever uniform we are wearing when we win)

I'm guessing we're still gonna do plenty of running.
