(on a side note, I"m sure her medical team has considered this, but I'm wondering if post-transplant drugs might benefit DukeRAh given that her immune system seems to be struggling to fight infections. Just a thought.)

I believe I have medical dyslexia. The immune systems of transplant patients have to be suppressed so that the organs are not rejected. Oy. I do wonder if there is some sort of medical protocol to boost immune systems, thinking HIV treatment?
