"If he had chosen a college so he could major in football, he probably would have picked Ohio State. But Laken Tomlinson wants to study pre-medicine. So on Tuesday, Lane Tech's 6-5, 300-pound offensive lineman announced he will attend Duke."
That's the opening of this article about Duke's latest recruit. He sounds like he is one very big dude, and should be a welcome addition on our O-line. And you gotta love his academic attitude.

Not only is he going to fit in well on the football team, he'll be a good fit for the Bassett Society, a type of support group unique to Duke University. Wonder if he'll become an orthopedist?CameronBornAndBred wrote:"If he had chosen a college so he could major in football, he probably would have picked Ohio State. Great choice! Athletes that seem just as interested in the academic side of college impress me. It seems like there aren't enough of them!
