That's a lot of beef for a HS junior :-o . Where do you think Cut will play him, center, OG or OT?

6'3, 200 lb rusher, and committed to Duke.
Welcome to Duke, Chris Rumph II. 3 stars and smart...
"I chose Duke most of all because of the academics," Rumph II told 247Sports. "They have the best academics. I love the campus. I love the coaches there."

Looks like a good pedigree. His father is assistant coach, defensive line at some school in Gainesville :D :

It sounds like he has a lot of work to do in the weight room but I like that he is the son of a DL coach.

Yep. His listing is OLB/DE but 6'3" and 200 lbs is kinda, sorta small for a DE.

Cut and company has done a decent job before when moving folks around. ;) A tall, fast guy can irritate the hell out of QBs. (Jeremy Cash would agree, and he's 3" shorter with barely more weight.)

Brooks announced he is de-committing and reopening his recruitment. A big loss.

Wonder the reasoning. It wouldn't be "wanting to play closer to home", and we haven't gone on any losing streaks lately.

Duke received three verbal commits over Memorial Day weekend to bring the number up to 11:

S Lummie Young (6'2" 195)
CB Joshua Blackwell (5'10" 170)

The 2017 class now has seven offensive commits and four defensive. Here is the position breakdown:

Offense - OL (3), WR (2), RB, TE

Imagine him at ages 19-23 after a year or two of the Cut diet and in the Duke weight room at about 280-290 lbs. What a beast!

TE Noah Gray (6'5" 225) is the newest Blue Devil. He reportedly ran a 4.7 40. That's great speed for a guy that big. Lots of possibilities.

Gray's 4.7 40 was run at Duke so it is confirmed.

http://www.scout.com/college/duke/story ... -noah-gray
He was offered after performing well at Duke’s first camp of the summer...he ran a 4.7 confirmed forty time at camp.

Drew Jordan (6'2" 235) is the newest Blue Devil. He is an ESPN300 4 Star with an impressive offer list:

There are rumors at The Devils Den a big recruit is going to announce for Duke this weekend. I'll be keeping an eye on Twitter all day.
