Might as well add another post to the Ego Wall.

Weekend before last, Swee'Pea graduated from Pitt with a degree in neuroscience. The kid finished with a 4.0, summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, Chancellor's Scholar, University Scholar, Honors College Ambassador, Panther Habitat for Humanity spring break coordinator, and part-time clinical research assistant at a nearby hospital, with miscellaneous gigs as TA / paid tutor and two nice summer programs. Next week, she will convert to full time at the hospital and work there for the next year or so. She already broke the new version of the MCATs and is in the process of applying to med school for the 2017-18 year, when I expect to see a brisk but heated bidding war for the privilege of her attendance.

That's awesome, Turk! Seems like yesterday that she was trying to decide which college to attend.

What a terrific person you and Mrs. Turk have raised. Tell her congratulations from a CTN aunt. I hope in 2 years I can post all those wonderful things about niece Elizabeth when she graduates from Pitt.

That's awesome, Turk! Seems like yesterday that she was trying to decide which college to attend.
Went by faster than that. Yesterday, she spent her afternoon in the sandbox and we had fun trying to decide which stories to read before bed.

Next up: college selection process for The Grump and The Bug, my high school juniors. Not sure what (if anything) is in their heads about the topic right now.
