Deaver missed 2012 recovering from injuries to his left ACL in January of that year, his left thumb in June and left kneecap in July. But because he also took a non-medical redshirt in 2010, would likely not be eligible for a sixth year.

Season hasn't even begun and we've had two huge losses.

I just got a pop up message that Braxton Deaver tore his ACL today.

I have seen the same reports. Apparently Braxton went down during a non-contact drill this morning. The report said he was running a route and went down. I expect Duke will officially announce his injury and that he is out for the season later today.

We have lost 2 of arguably our top 6 players. What a rough week for Duke football.

I heard About Braxton Deaver also.
Last Monday was Kelby Brown. This Monday is Braxton.

Should cancel Monday practices............................ 2 Big Losses and The season hasn't even begun.
