Can you see all of us watching a Duke game on phones during the wedding? No doubt, when the celebrant said, "speak now or forever hold your peace," Okafor would slam an alley-oop from Tyus Jones, or Rasheed would hit a three, and all of us would yell. :9f:

Good planning, CathyCA, to look at the exam schedule. :ymhug: :duke: :9f:

Ah, but we DID consult the university calendar. Our wedding date is during EXAMS! We're counting on not having a game that day!

:9f:
That should be a great date!!!! And easy to remember, also!

Good planning, CathyCA, to look at the exam schedule. :ymhug: :duke: :9f:

There is a huge flaw in the list logic "watching a Duke game on PHONES" if through some misadventure there actually was a game that day then
1) The ceremony time would be adjusted to avoid interfering with the game and
2) TVs would be available at the reception.

Also, our celebrant is a double-Duke grad, and a member of the Board of Trustees. I doubt that she would have agreed to officiate if she'd thought that Duke was going to play during the wedding.
