Some of you know my daughter is the guest services mgr. at a Holiday Inn in Blacksburg VA. She's been there about 8 months, first 'real' job after she got her degree in the field she wants to be in.
Moments ago she accepted a job as an assistant general manager:

If you pass through Lynchburg after the first of the year, she'll hook you up.
Bonus: the same franchisor is opening a new Hampton Inn in the area in 18 months or so and it will need a GM, and they proclaimed her 'GM material'.
Why yes, Momma is proud.

Colchar will be so happy and proud when he reads this about his future wife! So are we!
We stayed at the Springhill Suites in New Bern when we went there for CB&B's studio-warming party a couple of months ago! It was very nice.

I think we stayed there on our Civil War trip last summer. Nice property/location. Congrats.

Congratulations to windsordaughter! Smart, talented, and the subject of one of the funniest threads ever on CTN.

Great minds think alike

. We've been a member of their rewards program for a decade or more. Very nice benefits on a stay-to-stay basis and annually, too.

thanks guys!
I guess I have done my job...delivered her to adulthood as a good and decent person who works hard and leaves the world a little better than she found it.
