Well, I guess you have to be happy for the young man, but I thought this was one of our best staff/coaches. I also had a feeling his stay would be temporary. I was really hoping for one more year.

So, like it seems every year, we need to go out and replace a top notch coach. Luckily, Cutcliffe has some of his best recruiting successes with coaches. We need another big hit to replace Lubick.
Side note, Coach Cutcliffe isn't a spring chicken, so whenever he decides to retire I hope they keep track of Lubick, He's been getting a great foundation on both sides of the ball for being a head coach. Keep the flyer on this kid.

Will we lose any of our WR recruits as a result of this? I saw he was the lead recruiter with several of them.

Does Oregon need a DC, too?

Can we send them Roper? I know he isn't a DC, but he isn't an OC, either.devildeac wrote:Does Oregon need a DC, too?

Point well taken. One at a time. I know we had a lot of injuries last year but our D was worse than our O, especially the last 4 games. Granted we played 2 top 10-15 teams in that group but we still surrendered about 50 PPG and 600 yds/game during that stretch. The O was respectable. And now I feel just a bit unclean defending our OC but the D bordered on putrid.lawgrad91 wrote:Can we send them Roper?
