Condolences to Rolvix

Post by OZZIE4DUKE » December 30th, 2012, 3:32 pm

Robbie's grandfather, Rolvix Harlan Patterson, Sr., died on December 23rd. Sr. used to live in Smithfield and I knew him for years (at the golf course) as Bob Patterson. Condolences and vibes to Robbie and family. }}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

I did not know Bob was related to (our) Robbie until I read his obit in today's Smithfield Herald and put the names (and surviving relatives) together. And for those of you who remember my friend and DBR poster ABFinTN, she is Robbie's aunt, being his mother's sister.

Robbie, I'm so sorry about your grandfather's passing. I will be holding you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Actually, ABFinTN is Robbie's great-aunt. She is his maternal grandfather's (Henry, who has attended some of our TBCC tailgates) younger sister.

Our family is holding you and yours in its heart. I know how proud your grandfather must have been of you, Robbie. Take comfort in knowing what joy you gave him. That's a big, big thing.
