LOL! We don't need footlong buns this week, because Costco has released (a while ago) a regular sized beef frank, supposed to taste the same as the big ones, so I'm bringing those instead of the big ones. And I bought a package of 16 buns to go with them. Will also have some Yingling beer, plus the leftover Hoptober's that were in my cooler when I left. Well, most of them anyway ;)

Oh, I'm back from Vegas and stopped at Costco in Raleigh on the way home.

Saranac Octoberfest is the verdict. Probably also some Gatorade and Coke, too, plus some green encouragement.

I'm going to invite my lawyer couple friends Chip and Christina by, but I don't think they'll eat since they are coming by after GreekFest in GSO. If they eat I will make sure more dead white guys end up in the tip jar. Or in Cathy's mom's hands for transfer to TNT's shorts.

Most all the tailgates are very good. I think yesterday's was excellent. Well done to all who contributed. I can't pick a favorite for the day as I thought most items on the tables were quite good. OK, perhaps the beer selections were a bit better than all the solid refreshments ;) . And now, upon further review, I thought my contribution of the Fest from the Weeping Radish Brewery was the ugly bastard child of the afternoon/evening. I promise I'll do better .
