PS- I think we need a title of "Queen of the PWs" that the lead person gets, along with a little counter of how long they've held said title and maybe a little blurb on past queens and how long they reigned. I think that'd be cool.
PPS- I just noticed I'm at 1111 posts. I think I'll sit here for few hours and enjoy! ;)

Weren't these last few posts in the "serious" thread? Were they moved to the LTE? Or was I just too immersed in the PWing to notice that they were in the LTE to begin with? If so, my apologies. But Wilson, do remember your camera!

I'm back in Durham. Saturday was a travel day. I'm getting Andrew off to TIP today then I'll concentrate on setting up a get-together with any Durham locals. (Tilly, I'll be in touch soon.)
Poor wilson! Enjoy today at least.
The time is out of joint, O cursed spite!

BD...ever catch the Tall Ships in the harbor. I was down there yesterday for other tuff and it was full of people. I guess having a decent weather day for once probably helped that along.

You're incorrigible. I gotta figure out a place to buy the newest Vanity Fair and the newest New Yorker (oddly enough, Piggly Wiggly doesn't carry them). If I can dredge up a camera, I will try to take some surreptitious photos.

Thank you. I resemble that remark!
Looking forward to seeing the fruits of your efforts

Umm, I think you meant XY chromosome types
But I disagree. If I wasn't headed to Pompano Beach, I'd certainly head to Emerald Isle! Strange how y'all planned it like that ;) Darn!
OMG! I can't believe I made that mistake  Better head back to PA school.

The ad with the employees of a certain large conglomerate singing a cover of the Linda Ronstadt/Aaron Neville song, "Don't Know Much" has to be worst ad ever. Whoever imagined it was a good idea should be severely punished.

My new favorite ad is for DQ's Girl Scout Cookie Blizzard, where the daughter draws her and mom with one and dad has none. He's a boy, he can't have one.

Another ad I find interesting lately is the Ally Bank(formerly GMAC bank and a division of a former employer of mine) ad where the guy offers the two little girls a pony. Brunette, less cute* little girl gets a plastic toy pony. Cute, blond little girl gets a real-life pony. My, my, the stereotyping is firmly entrenched isn't it?
*this statement is destined to get me in trouble somehow

Those are a good set of commercials (the other one being - "you want a bike? But you can only ride it in this miniscule box.")
I was wondering where Ally Bank came from. They have decent intro CD rates.
