Some time tonight the Curiosity Rover will land on Mars. On her deck she has silicon chips etched with 1.4 Million names...including mine. Tilly is also 'on board'. As one of my Facebook friends said' this makes me her favorite martian. I will be watching at about 1:30am when she is scheduled to land.
Safe landing Curiosity!

All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost; the old that is strong does not wither, deep roots are not reached by the frost.

This is obviously begging for this:

Would loved to have stayed up to watch it live. The way it landed is absolutely crazy and brilliant...it's amazing that it happened so far away and without a hitch. Check out the animation of how it works.
