TEAM USA and Lithuania BBall

Post by DevilWearsPrada2.0 » August 4th, 2012, 11:14 am

The USA and Lithuania mens basketball game has been close for the entire game. Team USA is up by 9 now. But Lith, was up a couple of minutes ago.

Marty Pocius is so athletic, and has played good defense on Kobe and LeBron. Amazing, how "Alarmingly Athletic", Marty is!!!

I still don't understand why Marty never got the Playing Time he deserved at Duke.

Go TEAM USA!!!!! **==

Without Lebron, Team USA would have lost to Lithuania. Marty had 14 points and a terrific game!! **==

The rap on Marty at the time was that he wouldn't play enough defense. At least that is what I recall. I could be 100% incorrect.

Especially cool considering my son tutored Marty for a year while he was as Duke. In Swahili (jk). Marty was his student in Russian. And no, he did not write any papers or pay any parking tickets for him. Marty's girlfriend even hired my son's a cappella group to sing at Marty's birthday party one year. He was really excited when he saw/heard Marty was playing in the Olympics.
[redacted] them and the horses they rode in on.

That's great! His Girlfriend was Tara,that played Soccer at Duke!

Good to see Marty playing for his Country in the Olympics, and a reunion with his coaches.

Team USA, didn't play the best of games as Lithuania played a great game.
