I don't recall O Brother Where Art Thou doing that well at the box office. My DVR is relatively empty, thus I'm watching Reds baseball on the regional Fox Sports network.

Upon further review, it looks like I have 5 or 6 hours worth of stuff on my DVR. Just nothing very compelling.

Not surprising re O Brother box office, as the Coen Brothers doing Homer's "Odyssey" featuring hillbillies (even with Mr. Clooney) would have limited appeal. Meanwhile, Adam Sandler can make the same movie over and over again and print money. Go figure.

The soundtrack is equally oddball, but "Man of Constant Sorrow" is quite the catchy tune...

YMO, I'm jealous that you get to watch the surging Buccos against the Reds...

Just lucky I guess! :) For some reason, they've had the Reds number for the last two seasons.

One of the chapters in my book is going to be about law office staff. One of the characters is going to be a blonde receptionist named Ashley. Some of her dialogue is going to include the following (as God is my witness, this is a verbatim) statement:

"Miss Thompson, we were talking about you at Girls Night Out last night, and we all agreed that you're the lawyer we hate the least."

That's hilarious! What a rocket scientist!

Shane Battier is the only reason I can stomach the Heat winning. He was awesome last night. I hope he has a triple double in our straight games as the Heat get their asses handed to them. <sigh> The NBA. </sigh>

So far we've figured out that we'll be able to build all the ones we want for about $150, and they are looking awesome. :happy-bouncyblue:

There's one of two standing up (8' tall). :happy-bouncyblue: :D The next ones we build are going to be the same design, but have interconnecting towers of different heights; those are going against the dining room wall. About $75 each for the ones we've done so far.
