Legos

Post by bluebutton » May 18th, 2012, 6:38 pm

We're about to introduce regular legos to our household for my 3 y.o.

These are 30 year old sets my husband and his brother played with**, and remarkably over 90% of each set is intact so far. (They were all dumped into a big box, so I'm currently resorting them into sets. I'm maybe 15% of the way through.)

Anyways, how do/did y'all manage legos in your house?

I remember my dad being REALLY mad when he stepped on stray legos, and I sympathize. I don't want that. And we have a 1 y.o. so the older kid will need to keep the pieces together and away from the little one.

Any advice is welcome.

**Wow, they had way more legos than I had growing up and way cooler sets!

So cool! After Josh was done playing with Legos, I saw an ad on TV that showed this really cool Lego thing that would pick up Legos. I can't find it, but maybe someone else remembers.

We had a lego table with a net in the middle. The net held the legos.

2 year old Ruthie got them for Christmas. She loves them. Th new set is mixed with some old sets we had. They get put away when she's done playing with them (hopefully...)
