Ooh, I like those kinds of Sundays.
Yeah, it's cold and rainy. Perfect day to stay indoors.

Tonight, comfort food: meatloaf, mashed potatoes and collards.
Weird. For me, Bloody Mary's are for sunny Sunday brunches.

And no offense to you personally, but "Ha!" that it's cold & rainy there. We've had an almost perfect 70's & sunny weekend, the first one since sometime last August.

Bloody Mary's are definitely for Sunday brunches. Don't sell yourself short and think you have to go out for brunch! Rainy weekend days always mean 'cooking days', and that usually begins with brunch. :-)

Yeah, we lived in Scotland when I was young during the early 80s. My poor father found out the hard way he couldn't donate. He decided to donate at a blood mobile and was sitting in a bus with a few other people getting ready to be stuck when someone said he could not give blood, then asked him to get up and go speak with them in private. He was mortified, and couldn't imagine what would be wrong that they wouldn't let him donate blood. He was relieved to found out it was something so silly.

Our latest "like" on Facebook was from Kenny Dennard. :D (I don't care that he's "Ken", don't sound right.)
We now have 555. Nice number.

Semester abroad in Glasgow, fall of 1996. It was around the time when the craze of mad cow crossover to humans was coming to light.

If they ever come up with a way to test for CJD in humans, I'd get it, just so I could continue being a blood donor. But right now, as the nurse at the bloodmobile told me, the only test available is via an autopsy. :-o I'll pass, thanks.

Today is Lance Thomas's birthday. I sang the "Happy Birthday" song to him on FB, and he thanked me!

Those of you who are Lance's FB friends be sure to go over there and wish him a very happy birthday.

I did earlier, but I didn't sing (since I can't sing as pretty). I did note that he'll be playing a game in the NBA tonight though. He started the last two. :happy-bouncyblue: :ymparty:

It would really be freaky if he was wearing one stolen shoe and carrying a baton at the time he was stopped. =))
