I loved Vancouver, except the rats on sticks in the Chinese open-air markets freaked me out a little. But the Chinese food in the restaurants is really, really good. (I didn't eat anything on a stick.)

The did a pretty good job of translating the book into a movie, but as is usually the case, the book gives so much more nuance to the happenings.

Sadly, statistical advantages rarely last very long. I know this from the property-casualty insurance "game". We spend millions analyzing data.

The A's haven't been very good for some time now and some of the things they eschewed earlier they are now going after(stolen bases).

Just came home from Macy's. Full retail price of items purchased : $644. I paid $58. Clearance is my favorite word.

Wow, do you perform personal shopping services? I hate shopping. I can't stand the mall. I only have a Macy's card to buy Macy's gift cards for presents.
