Glad you made it there safely, Ozzie, and that your dad seems on the mend. I hope he sees his 98th birthday, and when it is his time to go, it's via something quick & quiet.

Glad to hear your Dad is responding to the anitbiotics. Hope the good news continues from your front! More hugs & vibes from Iowa for the Ozzie family!

My Dad also responding well to the meds in AZ & with a brother there I am not going out right now. It's hard to not but common sense has to step in once in a while! We're very lucky that he will recover from his issues this time around. Thanks to all for the hugs, prayers & vibes - they sure help!

He's holding steady. They've changed antibiotics as they analyzed his infection (it's gram negative). I hope to speak with the doctor later this afternoon to get a more detailed analysis.

And the beat goes on. They are doing blood cultures to determine what his gram negative infection is/are. He responds when my mom asks him a question by nodding his head. His doctor said it will be 24 to 48 hours before he knows how all this will end. He's still NPO (nothing by mouth) as he has a swallowing problem, so that has to be resolved to (what's causing it?) }}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

Vibes heading south, vibes heading west. Our CTN dads deserve our best! (Hey! that rhymes!)

Loads of Imalove to you who are on that all important bedside watch duty. Been there, done that and know how it can wear you out. Please take care of yourselves. And in your quietest moments, try to concentrate and actually feel the cozy vibes we're all sending as they settle down on you and relax those tense shoulders you've developed.
