Duke vs. Michigan (Summary)

Post by EarlJam » November 22nd, 2011, 11:52 pm

Today in Maui, the Duke Blue Devils scored more points than the Michigan Wolveriens (sp).

This gave Duke a victory, improving their record to 6-0 on the young season. Ryan Kelley played great. Austin Rivers had a strong second half. Coach K wore a Duke golf shirt. It was neat. The Michigan player's warm-ups looked like sweaters and the blue was not Michigan blue. Many laughed.

After the game, Coach K praised his young team saying they have much to improve upon but is proud of what they have accomplished already. "They have much to improve upon but I'm so proud of what they have accomplished already," said K.

Duke will play Kansas tomorrow at 10:00 where it will attempt to beat the Jayhawks in a championship game for the first time since 1991, when they played for the National Championship and Laettner, Davis, Hurley, Hill and the boys "Kicked KansASS." (Chronicle)

Also, Mason Plumlee had a bag of Rold Gold pretzels after the game.

Rold Gold is a good brand of bagged pretzels.
A fine report.

Excellent summary. You only forgot to mention the permanent eye damage suffered by all viewers due to the blinding fluorescent yellow unis that Michigan wore. :D :9f:
