Richmond football coach resigns

I can't post this OY, but my reaction to it, from a football stand point of playing them in 9 or 10 days is ... "boo-fucking-hoo!" :ymdevil: :ymdevil: :ymdevil:

1. It was his 2nd DUI in about 6 years.
2. He had a 6-5 record last year.
3. They were scared of playing us.

(Well, 2 outta 3 ain't bad ;).)

I vote 3. Probably his personal concerns of the contest, drove him to drink.

Anyone who can afford a Lexus can afford a cab or a driver, especially someone who already had a prior conviction and who should have known better. Alcoholism is an insidious disease, and now it's cost this guy his job.

What does driving a LEXUS have to do with anything? It is just a car, like a Nissan, Toyota, Ford, etc. Some folks drive newer models and some have been driving their older model vehicles.

The COACH could afford to call a cab or Choose to Not drink and drive.

The COACH is the Team leader, and he knew what the outcome would be.

The operative Word in my sentence, was AFFORD.

But if anyone has enough spare change to afford a Lexus, then he or she can certainly afford to hire a driver or a cab. I don't think that parsing my sentence made it any clearer. Perhaps I should have merely QFE, so I will do so:

The coach should not be worrying about a job. UNC will probably hire him. =)) =)) =))

He might want to pack a toothbrush. A second DUI within10 years carries 10 days mandatory minimum. I noticed also that he refused to take a blood or breath test. This isn't his first rodeo.

To add as I once heard a judge in a Kernersville court say once upon a time, "...and some pajamas, 'cause it ain't a good idea to sleep nekkid in my jail." :twitch:

LOL

Do you remember when there was a TV program "Toughest Sheriff in US". It was Sheriff Hege from Davidson County. The jails were painted in Pink and he made the inmates wear Black and White stripe uniforms.

Yeah. Poor ol' Hege had other problems though. He even became the inspiration for a new law to keep felons from running for election to sheriff.

Lets see how the Spiders do this weekend without their coach!

Any update about the Spiders and an intermin coach? Bad timing to lose your head coach.

LETS GO DUKE and get a nice victory for the season opener! :happy-bouncyblue: :duke:

Obviously Richmond is a very good Football team. And losing the head coach a couple of weeks ago, didnt stop the Spiders. Talked to several of their fans, and all were very nice.

Its going to be a long Football season. Feel for Coach Cut and the staff and team. They are so worthy to win and advance.
