Neither would I, although the movies usually aren't as good. I was really disappointed in the movie version of "Dream Girls" after having seen it on stage. With that being said, I love the most recent movie version of "Hairspray." Ernest goes to Hell, has a tutor write papers for him and pay the parking tickets on his fleet of vehicles, and takes classes that would not tax the intelligence of a cricket. Yeah, but I suspect we will want to rewrite the ending.
