House selling vibes please!!!
Well, our house in Durham has been on the market for three months, with very little traffic and only one interested party (they decided to have the builder build them a new house in the neighborhood, but we were in second place. Yay. ). Anyway, our agent got a call from our first real serious party and I think they're going to send in an offer today....... FINGERS CROSSED.
Vibes please! I really need to get rid of this house so we can move on with our life in NJ!

Did you bury a St. Joseph's statue in the back yard?

Yes indeed! The same one we buried at our old house in Cary four years ago. Then we dug him up after the sale and he was placed prominently on the mantel of our Durham house for four years before going back in the ground!CathyCA wrote:Did you bury a St. Joseph's statue in the back yard?

Best of luck in a rather difficult environment for home sales.

My house in Kenansville was on the market for 6 mo. I'm grateful it sold. I would have liked it sooner but considering the economy, I was happy. Good luck. I hope your house sells soon.

Thanks for all the vibes everyone! Turns out last week it was only the wife who saw the house and really liked it. The good news is the husband is coming to Durham later this week (they're out of town buyers) to take a look. I take that as good news! We're still trying to be patient and hope that an offer comes. Will keep you updated.

That is VERY good news...she would not drag him to a house she didn't already like. If the Durham market is anything like Florida there are plenty of opts available so if he's looking at it your in the running.DukeUsul wrote:Thanks for all the vibes everyone! More full price offer from prequalified buyer vibes....

I agree with Windsor - if the wife is bringing in the husband for approval, it's because it's the one SHE wants, and we all know how that goes... ;)windsor wrote: That is VERY good news...she would not drag him to a house she didn't already like. Ditto on the full-price-offer from qualified buyer vibes! May they have a house that sells quickly for them as well!
