Prince Harry

Post by DukePA » April 18th, 2011, 8:50 pm

Anyone else feel that Harry is staying at the dump on the hump because he knows Kyrie will go first in the draft and his poor little ego couldn't stand it? I know, serious bitter grapes here, but I can't help it. :(

The holes are going to be insanely good next year. We will be too. :D :happy-bouncyblue: :duke: :9f:

Actually I should rephrase that to insanely talented. Just because they have the players does not mean they will be good. Roy is still coaching them. :))

Do ya'll think we're really going to be great next year? Sorry, I just don't see it. VERY good, yes. But by Duke standards, pretty average. I'm thinking like a pre-season rank of 15. I mean, we lost two seniors who provided most of the points and team leadership and Kyrie.

I'll love next year's team like any other, and will follow them with all my heart, but we will be in "rebuild" mode for a while....again, by DUKE standards only.

Closer to 5. Not saying we'll actually be that good over the whole season, but we will definitely start the season comfortably within the top 10. And I do think we'll be very good...young and probably inconsistent, not as good as the heels, but still very good. Put us in any other conference in the country except the Big East or the Big Televenwelve, and I'd bet on us to win.

I think we'll be in the 26-28 wins range next year. We'll be HUGE, with the 3 Plumlees, RK, and Murphy (6-9) to roam around and will have good guard play. Like any team missing 2 critical seniors it will take some time to gel, but we have talent coming in and the greatest ACC Coach of all time to guide them. I say anything is possible. :happy-bouncyblue:
