Funny, but when the temperature dropped 20 degrees over here last night, the price of gas went up 20 cents a gallon.
Coincidence?
I think not. ;)

Gorgeous here today but not so great looking for Brunchgate on Saturday. Actually, it sounds like football weather... grrr. Good thing we have a tent.
Mostly cloudy with some sprinkles in the morning and more widespread rain arriving in the afternoon and evening, high 58.

Payback for all the perfect weather we had last year?

Yea, I'm disappointed about the rain. I don't think I'm up to being in the rain for several hours.

The weather where I am is cool and we expect occasional rain this weekend. It'll be a good time for me to work inside on the house we are renovating.
Where do you get your weather reports? I found a cool site recently called
Weather Spark that has the best interface I've seen for weather information.

Come to Brunchgate anyway. Stay under the tent(s) and don't go to the game if it's raining. We all need the catharses and therapy of good friends and talking it out. And beer!

That's pretty much my plan. I'm coming for the meets and eats. Don't think I will be there for the game.

Dear Weather Gods,
My calendar says that it's spring, yet I drove to work (in the South) through snow and sleet, and it's snowing outside my window. Please coordinate the actual weather with the calendar.
If you need a sacrifice to appease you, we here at CrazieTalk would be happy to oblige. Typically, a sheep is considered an appropriate offering. I humbly offer Kendall Marshall.
Sincerely yours,
lawgrad

And, based on Biblical principles, if our CTN family is too poor and does not own a sheep, then the offering of a small winged creature hopefully would/should be a suitable alternative. I'd suggest a black pigeon, err, falcon if that is the case here.

Actually, it did cross my mind to offer a black pigeon, but I figured he would take his talents to Cleveland or some other outpost of the NBA.

It just Keeps. Fucking. Raining. Gray, gloomy, chilly. Whither spring?
Last night/this morning was the 3rd time in the last 4 days I've been woken up out of sleep in the middle of the night because the storm was so loud and violent. March, it seems, is going out like a lion this year.
Okay, March, we get the picture, now please...just go out!

One thing the locals can count on here in the varnish zone is that monsoon season and the weekend of the spring race in Martinsville always coincide. It is absolutely pouring here, and cold. Sure am glad I'm not parked in a muddy field trying to set up my camper for the week.
Weather gods, I offered to offer Kendall Marshall, and my esteemed colleague DD suggested a black pigeon. How about both? With a side of Sylvia Hatchell thrown in?

It's about 68 degrees....raining sideways...tornado watch until 8 pm...gotta love it!
Probably won't be loving the drive on the causeway over Tampa Bay to get home tonight....surfs up!

Still gloomy around here. Temps are slightly below normal.
One of the kids at the dayschool told Miss Paula that he was gloomy inside just like it's gloomy outside.
I love kids!
Life is good!
