Syracuse goes down to Marquette. Unc-ch fans rejoice, still complain about our bracket.

ND is toast...so here's what we wind up with.
The Big East..which is the best conference EVER!!!!! will have a total of TWO teams in the Sweet Sixteen.
The ACC...which sucks SOOO badly, will have 3.

Big East = 11 teams in, 2 advance.
ACC = 4 teams in, 3 advance.

I am happy. (except I really wish the holes had lost.) :happy-bouncyblue: :duke: :9f:

Arizona and Texas was another great ending. 'Zona's length worries me and Williams is a BEAST, but we've handled those all year.
I was hoping AZ would win.

By the numbers:
ACC: 3
Big East: 2
Big Ten: 2
SEC: 2
MWC: 2
Pac 10: 1
Horizon: 1
CAA: 1
Big 12: 1
A10: 1

The Big Least was turrible. I think the ACC is the only multi-bid conference where all schools won at least one game.

Thursday's game is at 9:30, when will they release times for Saturday's games? (Hoping that we are fortunate to being play Saturday, if we aren't, this question is moot.)

I was watching TNT during the halftime break for the Kansas game (I think) and Barkley was awesome. They have "Quick-Rick" Pitino working with Kenny Smith and Barkley. Sir Charles told Ricky that the Big East was overrated and FSU would dominate Notre Dame. Rick was taken back by those comments, talking about how the Big Least was definitely not overrated, best conference, etc. but Barkley had none of it. It....was....AWESOME!!! Barkley gives it the honest, brutal opinion whether it is the majority opinion or not. You gotta love the guy as an analyst.

I was saddened a little about Brey losing, but not little-handsblow...now Tyler can bandwagon jump some more....punk.

“You know how when your friend tried to set you up with a girl and he said she has a good personality?” Turner and CBS NCAA analyst Charles Barkley asked The New York Post. “That’s not good. The Big East has a good personality.”

You are welcome to look at me too.

Arizona/Texas, I didn't get to see. I heard the radio announcers say something about one of Arizona's players should have been ejected for an intentional elbow to the jaw. Is this proper? I have not seen on replay either.

Airball -- Charles Barkley -- Everything that makes Barkley great on NBA games made him unwatchable in the studio during the NCAA tournament. His blunt, laid-back attitude works on "Inside the NBA," but not in the most exciting sporting event of the year. Barkley was a picture of apathy all weekend. He seemed to want to be anywhere but in a studio talking about Butler-Old Dominion, two teams he almost certainly hadn't seen play up until last week.

And from the same article that I got the Barkely quote...
Airball -- Different camera angles -- You know why all basketball broadcasts show the game from an elevated camera position at midcourt? Because it looks the best. So to all you directors who think you're creative by cutting to overhead angles and knee-level sideline shots and behind the basket cameras, enough. Just show the game, cut to a coach reaction every now and then, and put on the UCLA cheerleaders as much as possible. It's not that difficult.

I could care less about his body language, his comments are classic. Just Pitino's facial expressions when he was telling him his conference was overrated was classic!!

Yes they were! My only complaint about Sir Charles was that he sounded as though he attended the Bob Dylan/Ozzie Osborne School of Public Speaking.

At least someone had the balls to speak ill of the Big East...Thursday night he started that and I remember the horror on the other guys faces when he said 'I'm rooting against every single Big East Team because they were so over rated'. It was classic.

That Florida cheerleader is absolutely skeletal. And too tanned. Someone needs to give her a sandwich and a milkshake.

I will follow the remainder of the men's side looking at scores. I may watch the National Championship game out of habit, but not likely if the bastard-ass bitches from Chapel Hell are playing...GTHc :9f: :9f: :9f: :9f:
