Calling all Space Nerds
And by that, I mean you, DukeUsul.
According to NASA, this weekend's full moon will be a "super perigee" moon, meaning that it will appear to be especially big in the sky. The last time it was so big and close was in March of 1993.

Just an FYI - I too am a space nerd. Proud of it. Have always loved all things astronomy. I want to purchase a kick-ass telescope where you can see the elevations of the craters and shit on the moon.

Yes, MoonJam, I knew that you were also a space nerd. I forgot, and for that, I sincerely apologize.EarlJam wrote:Just an FYI - I too am a space nerd. Proud of it. I have a bit of a date tomorrow evening with a lovely lady, to hang out and drink a few beverages and watch the giant moon come up. If she's into such abject nerdery, she's gotta be alright.

Present!
Don't let the nutjobs know about this. They'll start sending around email forwards about how this is going to cause massive earthquakes and floods and volcanoes and the world will end.
