Ymm, coffee
I do not remember a thread on coffee. I am talking about "what kind of coffee do you brew at your home for breakfast" coffee. I suppose various types of machines and grinds (or not) could "filter" in, but I'm interested the coffee itself. I just started using Peets, and I am impressed. Never been to...

American Idol Connection
I never really watched before, but now I am a big fan. Crystal Bowersox, one of the contestants was in my wife's second grade classroom and was also a student in my middle school. It is fun to watch her. She was very talented at a early age. She is not the prettiest nor best dressed of idol contestan...

Does a bottle opener count? There are about five real keys, a few barcode thingees and a bottle opener (Kona Long Board). The Fat Tire opener is on my consul in my car.

I have a permit to carry a concealed weapon from the state of Ohio. I do not own a concealable weapon. It was fun taking the course. I do own two shot guns, but as of right now I have no amo in the house.

Re: Ymm, Beer!
My wife and I ate lunch at the Kona Brewing Co. on the big island last week. Their dessert menu featured beer floats. I noticed other tables enjoying the combination--I felt it only polite to join them. BTW, the food was great also. You joined them to enjoy THEIR beer floats!? Probably woulda been ...

Sierra Nevada Glissade-a golden bock-Yep, it's a lager; pale yellow-gold in color with all the breadiness of a lightly toasted croissant, with a bit of butter. Lightly hopped with the typical light caramel tastes you'd expect. It's a bit early for spring but couldn't pass up this new brew in Harris...

Tony Packo's from here in Toledo,Ohio. Either "raw" or deep fried. http://www.tonypackos.com/pickles.php The original are certainly my favorites. Tony's has a good beer menu. A glass of beer and their pickles make a great way to complete a meal with the best hot dogs in America and beyond. :x Is th...

Breckenridge products this year, Agave Wheat and Vanilla Porter. The Porter was very good, a chocolate taste with a vanilla finish. Yep, it made a great beer float on New Year's day. This one now ranks at the top of my porter list. The Agave Wheat is a beer that I will try again this spring. I thin...

We stopped in the Berkshires (Red Lion Inn) on our way back from Boston. For lunch I tried a couple of the Birkshire Brewing Co's products--it was a tavern, what should I drink?.The Steel Rail was a good beer, the Coffee House Porter a very good beer. Someone else said their Seasonal Christmas beer ...

I have just returned from visiting the boy child and family (new grand daughter) in Boston. Three dinners in his condo--three beers. Each was from Stone out of San Diego. 1) Ruination--very hoppy--he loves it, I thought so/so. 2) Imperial Russian Stout--I loved this one, it is a limited release, I f...

Great Lakes Christmas Ale. I could only find one six pack so far, but after one try tonight I am searching for more tomorrow. A little honey taste and a little malt. One of the better holiday brews I have had. With family coming from Colorado for the holidays, I think I will try to stock up. :-bd G...

Hey, I've been busy so I have not posted in awhile. I will correct that now and in the near future. I arrived here again to read of the Breckenridge V.
