Re: LTE 2.0
If you ask someone, on a form, what their first or second career choice is, and they mark the first as undecided and the second as ophthalmology, doesn't that really mean that ophthalmology is their first choice? Nah, that's just something they're doing to pass the time until they actually figure o...

Re: Brunchgate 2010 - Army Game Sept. 25 - Menu / attendance
Seriously, it does taste like beef. It's leaner than beef, but bison burgers taste like hamburgers, bison steaks taste like steak, and so on. If no one told you it was bison burger, you'd think it was hamburger. As an alternative to beef, it's a good choice. Usul: Have you tried the bison meat loaf...

Re: Brunchgate 2010 - Army Game Sept. 25 - Menu / attendance
Next time you're in Durham stop by Ted's (Turner) Montana Grill http://www.tedsmontanagrill.com/ Their bison pot roast and bison meat loaf are my favorites. Best of all, there's a huge mounted bison head on the wall over the kitchen door that watches you while you eat it. I do not think I could eat...

It looks like I'll need two for my in-laws who are coming this weekend. I'd prefer to pay GA prices. I sent a PM to ** a few minutes ago.

Re: Brunchgate 2010 - Army Game Sept. 25 - Menu / attendance
Bison? As in buffalo? As in, "Oh give me a home where the buffalo roam, where the deer and the antelope play?" :twitch: Well, yes and no. The buffalo we're eating no longer roams, but the deer and the antelope are still at large! What does it taste like? I've never eaten buffalo. Does it taste like...

I'm considering a Nook. I think a great aspect of it is the fact that you can go into a B&N with it and read any book in their catalog for some period of time without paying for it. Plus, as an open source/open standard advocate, I love the fact that Nook supports the standard ePub format. You can g...

Re: Breaking Down Alabama (Duke's 3rd Opponent)
I'm curious about the ruling on our kickoff just before half, the one we recovered, but got the 15 yard flag for interference. Did the Bama guy call for fair catch and I missed it? Isn't the ball fair game once it goes 10 yards, no matter who touched it? There was another no-call on a push-off on o...

Definitely a splash and just short of poured.
Re: LTE 2.0
Well splatter is a bad word. More like splashed.
Re: LTE 2.0
I burned the living bejeezus out of the back of my hand tonight. I was draining a pot of boil in bag rice and splatter the boiling water on my hand. Whole back of the left hand is bright red. It's like the worst sunburn I've ever had, but just on my hand. Luckily it's just 1st degree, no blistering ...

I hope Skins fans don't rip McNabb on that one. That's what Philly fans would do. Blame McNabb for not pulling one out of his arse when McNabb was the only reason the Skins went up in that game and had a chance to win it.

Re: Breaking Down Alabama (Duke's 3rd Opponent)
What I found fascinating was that they rarely rushed the QB. I can think of maybe two, three times they got in Renfree's face. They stayed at home keeping everything in front of them.... because they could. And probably trying to show as few of their special plays for their later opponents.

Re: Board Index
The graphics next to the board listings are pretty big, such that depending on how narrow/wide your browser window, the links to the forums themselves can sometimes be split between the side and the bottom of the graphics.
Re: Asteroids
The funny thing is that discovering it "a few days out" actually was a fair bit of advanced notice, based on one article I read.
Re: LTE 2.0
Are there any firebugs out there? Hypothetically speaking, if one were freezing in an igloo, I mean law office, what would be the best things to set on fire? My photos, Duke memorabilia, and stuffed animals (lemur, meerkat, Tigger, two bunnies) are off limits. Anything else is probably fair game. O...
