Re: The Dumbest Thing I Have Heard Today
I've heard that S-Chip, designed to be paid for by tobacco taxes, needs to find somewhere in the neighborhood of 25 million NEW smokers to fund it. Then, just help it along, the government raised the tax rate on tobacco products.
Re: LTE 2.0
Maybe the above deserves to be in "Dumbest thing" thread. Hmmm.

OK. I've been inspired. May God help us all. Many moons ago, when Son of mojo was a mere infant in diapers, he was dealing with issues of a digestive irregularity. Out of sorts. Alrighty, he was constipated. When he did exercise his functions, it produced a small hard little black turd. (I was modde...

Tornado warning! It seems to all be past here, yet warnings still in place. We had wind and sprinkles of rain but thankfully nothing more. People were calling in to local TV to complain about weather coverage being broadcast instead of network programming.

Well, according to titles, we've a long way to go.
Speaking of go, I must leave to acquire food for the In-Law in the recliner.

When I was in law school at Wake Forest, I once saw a huge banner flying out of the windows of a fraternity section on the main quad. Now, usually these banners were reserved for cheering for the Demon Deacons' football team, but this one particular banner had nothing to do with Wake Forest. Painte...

Well, okay, so Mr. DA was the primary installer, but I did help cut, flux and solder the copper piping, set the thermostat, check the water lines, etc. I thought he was crazy ...
