Re: LTE 2.0

Operation: Biscuit Run is now complete. I just ordered one of everything from the Bojangles breakfast menu, including a six pack of Bo Berry Biscuits. They're in the freezer now. Tomorrow they'll be packed on dry ice and mailed to my brother for his birthday. I wish I could be there to see his face...

Re: The Official "WWWD?" Thread

After our big instrument training class a couple of weeks ago, "we" (BarMinion) started having trouble with the instrument. It was blamed on the person who did the training class, but my gut told me that the source of the problem was the one slinging the mud. Turns out I was right. I walked into th...

Good Morning. We're off to volunteer this AM, picking up dogs and dropping them off at the Humane Society so they can get free vaccinations and be spayed/neutered.

CBS Sunday Morning had a good segment for Levon. Much better than what they did for Dick Clark.

Re: LTE 2.0

If they ever come up with a way to test for CJD in humans, I'd get it, just so I could continue being a blood donor. But right now, as the nurse at the bloodmobile told me, the only test available is via an autopsy. :-o I'll pass, thanks. Isn't that the same method to be definite of rabies? Good th...

Re: Greenberg's gone

Though I won't necessarily miss Uncle Fester, I think his athletic director handled the process VERY badly. Dude scheduled the press conference before bothering to let Seth know that he was a goner. He also made the decision LAST WEEK. Hello; how tacky is that? I concur. If you watch his press conf...

Re: LTE 2.0

You too? :-w Yeah, we lived in Scotland when I was young during the early 80s. My poor father found out the hard way he couldn't donate. He decided to donate at a blood mobile and was sitting in a bus with a few other people getting ready to be stuck when someone said he could not give blood, then ...

Ooh, I like those kinds of Sundays. Yeah, it's cold and rainy. Perfect day to stay indoors. Tonight, comfort food: meatloaf, mashed potatoes and collards. Weird. For me, Bloody Mary's are for sunny Sunday brunches. And no offense to you personally, but "Ha!" that it's cold & rainy there. We've had ...

Kelly, my neighbor Rob, and I had a good time! It was great to see Ozzie for a few minutes and great to catch up with the whole crew.

I don't care what the judges thought, my two plates of pork and ribs were delicious!
