Re: LTE 2.0

Ooh, this post will give me a nice total number. I think I'll stop here for now, and go check on FutureDA. She kindly slept through the night again. :ymhug: :happy-bouncyblue:

20, right? I do like that over yonder, you can change how many are on a page - I typically go with 40.

Purge. Or have a marathon viewing session, then purge. Particularly the movies - become friends with Amazon Prime or Netflix instead.

Re: LTE 2.0

I did feel obliged to play Guns and Roses' Sweet Child of Mine at higher than politely acceptable levels. Any other song suggestions? Does it have to be old school? Can't really help you there, except maybe suggest some doors or hendrix. "People are strange" would be a good one. More modern, I'm di...

Re: LTE 2.0

I didn't feel it the right car to play my NPR podcasts in. CarTalk with Tom and Ray just doesn't feel very cool when you are driving with the windows down and the motor revving. Yeah, but "Fresh Air" would probably be okay. ;) :)) =)) :)) =)) I like Planet Money, and Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me, myse...

Even though there's no change I'd be making it to the game that weekend, I'm still sorry to be missing BD's appearance, and the screening of "Lights Out, Rowan." :)

Re: The Job Search Thread

A bad week at work (is it really only Tuesday?!?) prompted me to take a serious look at open positions within the 'borg. There are about 5 posted in the past month that caught my eye. Two of them are on teams where I've worked with at least one other person, so now I have two informational interview...

Re: Weather Check!

We've set another weather record - measurable rain for every day so far this October. I'm pretty sure the 10-day forecast shows the trend will continue.

We even had hail (well, it sounded like hail) last night at 3:45AM. I'm pretty sure it's what woke up FutureDA.

Re: LTE 2.0

I know there is still a lot of time left in the game, but Nebraska is once again getting a nice welcome to the Big Ten. I admit that seeing O$U winning is a bit hard to take for me, but most NE fans I know thought they would run over the opposition in the Big Ten. It's kind of nice seeing them have...

I wouldn't call that an apology. An apology is, "I'm sorry I said that."

What Williams said was, "I'm sorry people were offended by what I said." L-)

Re: LTE 2.0

Sushi for dinner, yum. Mr. DA had started going to this little conveyor-belt joint for lunches on Friday, they came to know him, his order, and always gave him awesome, big cuts of fish (no waiting on the belt.) He changed jobs and can't do lunches there anymore, so we've started going on Friday eve...

Shouldn't there be two stops - one to drop one to pick up? :D

Homemade split pea soup. Fall has arrived. (Literally - today's the autumnal equinox.)
