BOB-BY! HUR-LEY! (Clap-clap, clap-clap-clap!)

Then, closely on his heels, "Marty doesn't foul!" (Marty Clarke.)

Re: LTE 2.0

So, if you'd asked me three days ago how I liked my 2011 Chevy Equinox after a year's worth of moderate use, I would have raved about it. Today, after hearing that it likely needs the transmission replaced, I'm singing a different tune. Thank goodness for warranty coverage, but I really didn't want...

Re: Taking a Day Off at Work

I consider a "mental health day" to also be a "sick" day. Sometimes, taking a day to recharge, or just run errands, or take care of other things that have been weighing on my mind, really is better for my contributions to the 'borg.

Re: Happy Birthday DevilAlumna

Thanks, y'all! :ymhug: I have been having fun playing on my new toy (Mr. DA gave me a Kindle Fire - pretty cool! More in a later post elsewhere), and enjoying a lazy day at home with him and FutureDA. In fact, this may be the first year I've ever been happy about a Sunday birthday, since I didn't ha...

Re: Hoppy Beerthday, Miles!

Happy Birthday, Miles! You've had one heck of a momentous year, don't think you can top marriage, house, health issues - may next year be filled with lots of life's little & daily blessings (and free from big or little strifes.)

Re: The Official "Good Night" Thread

Getting sore throat and runny nose... :(

Maybe an early bedtime will stave off what otherwise feels like it wants to become a fullblown cold. Being sick on Halloween is a bummer, even when you're too old for trick or treating.

Having fun playing with new personal tech this weekend. Got a Lenovo touchscreen tablet, and just installed the Developer Preview of the next version of Windows, codename Windows 8. It's fun and pretty. (But still too glitchy for mainstream use.) Love the touch/tablet interaction! DA, I did the Win...

I did feel obliged to play Guns and Roses' Sweet Child of Mine at higher than politely acceptable levels. Any other song suggestions? Oh goodness... Too many to list.... A classic Firebird needs classic rock. Allmans: Blue Sky, heck just play all of Eat a Peach and Live at Fillmore Skynyrd: Freebir...
