well, with my vote, it's a deadlock, 4-4-4.
EDIT: Oh, wait, Ozzie's vote tips it. That puts Tonka ahead by 1.

Re: I've decided to buy myself a new t-shirt.
That's fantastic, and it has a special place in my heart, as I took Game Theory at TIP in 1998. Oh, man, really? That summer (and summer '99) I was a Duke employee charged with dealing with TIP housing. TIP kids were forever losing keys. Once, a TIP counselor flushed a dorm master key down the toil...

Hi everyone, I'm home!! Hawaii was a BLAST!!!! Here is a brief summary, some of which you've already read about. <snip> Whew! I did a lot. I had a wonderful time and have started my list of things to do when we go back in 2 years. Am considering taking up scuba diving so I can dive further down and...

Re: Albuquerque, NM?
Well...for the civil rights job in Denver, I made the final two and they went with the other candidate. The firm was very gracious and want to keep in touch over the next few months to see if they can justify bringing me on in addition to the recent hire. In the end the other guy had 4 more years o...

Those geek tees are indeed pretty funny, but they're not quite me. That would likely involve getting off my couch. And I'm right in the middle of last night's SNL - which is freekin' hilarious, BTW.Miles wrote:You wanna meet in Sue's living room? I'm considering walking over there but I'm too lazy.DevilAlumna wrote: Wow, strangely, that makes three of us.

I want Wilson to come cook for me! (Bjornolf, you're married w/ kids, so probably harder for you to come out to the Left Coast on a moment's notice. )
Plus, then, I could introduce Wilson to one of my girlfriends - tall (5'11"), smart (we got our MBAs together), Scandanavian, single.

I'm throwing my support behind TOWEL. I'm not a huge fan of TOBY (mostly for the "yo" - I have a thing against gratuitous words added to acronyms, and I just don't like "yo" in general.) And TBTSNBM or TSTMNBN or whatever that other acronym is just too hard. Plus, there's something about Towels and ...

So Long, Dr. Dorian
Is anyone else bummed that Zach Braff is leaving Scrubs? Though this season started out poorly, I thought the past several episodes were pretty strong. They've written the season finale so that the show can come back next year, but honestly, I'll be surprised if it gets picked up. JD made the show f...

That's one of the two species I study... crowned lemurs. IIRC, that's a Franz Lanting shot taken in Ankarana. I study them about 20 km away in a rain forest (and elsewhere). I'll be posting from the field in some 4 weeks or so. WOO HOO!!! Okay, that's just cool that you know who the photographer is...

You're more than welcome, Ozzie! Hope you enjoy your new machine! In an entirely different direction, for those looking for lemurs today, check out the front page of http://www.live.com! Did you have anything to do with that? I wish! If so, lemurs would figure prominently in the rotation! :D
