Re: LTE 2.0

I just mowed my lawn. I love mowing my lawn. :D :D :D :D Enjoy the feeling while it lasts. :) I find I like the first mowing of the season, but when it's been raining solid for two weeks, the grass is kneehigh and there's a 2-hour window of dryness when you'd rather be doing anything else, mowing t...

Re: Giving Up Vices

I take a little issue with the way the quiz is phrased - "obesity" is not a vice, like smoking or drinking. Obesity is a noun, the other two are verbs. A comparable verb might be "overeating," or "underexercising."

Re: LTE 2.0

Hey, all! I have a question for the techies in our fair group. I bought a brand new iPhone as a birthday present to myself (and I only had to stand in line for 1.25 hrs!) and am having a problem that I also had on my BlackJack: I can't log in to CrazieTalk. Is it because I stay logged in on my lapt...

Bummer, Dude. Hope the severance is decent, and the line to collect those unemployment checks are short!

Big, huge vibes headed your way. If you have any interest in software marketing and would consider relocation, let me know.

I'm working from home today, and have the local news channel on -- they've had two stories on so far, about semi-trucks overturning and spilling their cargo. The first was a Krispy Kreme tanker truck - it spilled out a whole load of donut glaze! The second was a truck carrying cans of Miller beer. ...

Re: My Mom is on Facebook

My mom's a FB friend, but I have so many co-workers that are also friends, that I never post anything too outrageous. And if anyone posts anything even slightly objectionable to my wall, I delete it. So far, none of my friends have put up any horrifically embarrasing photos and whatnot; gosh, I'm gl...

I made pulled pork the other night, and as ever, it was damn good. This is a great party recipe; it yields about 6 pounds at roughly 3 bucks a pound. Recipe: Get a pork shoulder or Boston Butt (it might also be labelled as a "picnic shoulder" or something similar). These cuts will generally be some...
