Re: Buy Windows 7 Now!
Is it worth the upgrade from Vista? Oh sweet jesus, yes. It's faster, more stable (even in beta, it was more stable), and yes, has some nice, new features. The best thing for laptops is better power management - my Lenovo tablet went from about 2.5 hours of life, to nearly 4 hours. Since somebody e...

I can definitely tell that it's a holiday week here; traffic's much lighter, and peak in the afternoon has moved from 5:30-6:30 back to 4:00-5:00. Slackers. ;)

So that's where he's been. Shamm invited me to play a game, made the first play, I responded and played; haven't heard anything since.

We're back from the Ocean City NJ boardwalk. Merry-go-round, monorail, cheesesteaks, funnel cake, frozen custard. I'm ready for bed but the babe is still up.

* Inter-colonial trading - is that exclusive to the american colonies, or other british colonies such as in the west indies and/or Africa? * Did Charleston traders have any favored trading partners? Most of my clost friends during and after college, even now, 12 years after graduation, were my freshman year hallmates. Be open to meeting new people, all sorts, across all experiences - you never know who will become part of your inner circle. That also means, in order to meet those new people, yo...

And Brazil advances - this running commentary is pretty entertaining: http://soccernet.espn.go.com/commentary?id=266848&cc=5901&league=FIFA.CONFEDERATIONS - Particularly entertaining are the few comments about Alves, who came in in the 81st minute, and scored the goal in the 87th. Good substitution.

"Hey, what happened with that chick you were scamming on at the bar?"
"Oh, we went and 'hiked the appalachian trail' last night."

I pretty much find most stanzas of the Desiderata to be quotable - http://www.fleurdelis.com/desiderata.htm but the one I keep in mind most is: Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. A...

Or how can something that is the same be different? The terms, by their very definitions, contradicted each other. I remember working so hard ...

CBB, you have a beautiful eye for composition. Do you generally capture this in the picture, or is there some post-processing/trimming on these?
