Re: LTE 2.0

K68 and I are painting the ceiling the living room, then we'll paint the walls. Hopefully by tomorrow night, my living room will be done (painting, furniture arranging, and decorating). :D :D I hope the advice I was able to offer on your "problem" got you started on the way to a solution. Hint to o...

Re: Jokes

I got this joke in an email today, and just had to post it for our favorite pirate! :ar! The Pirate in the Bar A pirate walked into a bar, and the bartender said, "Hey, I haven't seen you in a while. What happened? You look terrible." "What do you mean?" said the pirate, "I feel fine." "What a...

Re: What was your first car?

She got one of the first generation Acura Legends (we LOVED that car, btw). I had a 1986 Legend. I too loved that car. The "throw in" I asked the dealer for was the 5-year unlimited mileage warranty they were selling. At 102,000 miles (in year 3) the Acura dealer rebuilt the transmission for free. ...

Re: What was your first car?

Inspired by DinK's new car search and all the answers! I learned to drive on my mom's 1968 Olds Toronado, great car. My senior year in HS, my folks bought me a 1972 Pontiac GTO. Lucerne Blue (close to today's Duke Blue, slightly metallic in finish), white vinyl top, sun roof (that leaked), blue clo...

Re: What was your first car?

For a while when I was a kid, my parents had a '66 silver caddy. It was a big, beautiful boat. They sold it when my grandfather died and they inherited his copper '76 caddy. That thing was another big, beautiful boat. I looked it up. It had the biggest engine ever put in a production manufacture ca...

Re: Whatcha cookin' this long weekend?

I'm not posting this in the recipe thread because it's not about the recipe, although if your fare is more than fair, then please do post the ingredients there. I know I'm doing the obligatory hotdogs and burgers tomorrow, don't know about Sunday, and Monday I am cooking up some baby back ribs. Cor...
